Five minutes with Jakub Dosa

KIM: How long have you worked at Trafford?

JAKUB: 5 Years

KIM: What does the average day involve in your job?

JAKUB: Ensuring that the patient and visitors receive the service that is expected. For example, safe hot food, clean and safe environment, clean linen etc.

KIM: Where did you work before you came to Trafford?

JAKUB: I worked for an American restaurant chain for about 7 years.

KIM: What are the best bits/worst bits about the job?

JAKUB: Best: when the service is delivered without any issues. Also, when we see an improvement in the service provision when we implement new ways of working.

KIM: What does the NHS mean to you?

JAKUB: A lot – it’s the largest organisation in the Europe and I am proud to be working for the NHS.

KIM: What made you want to work in a hospital?

JAKUB: To learn and develop my skills and to experience public sector.

KIM: Why is Kim so amazing?

JAKUB: Who said that?

KIM: It’s like getting blood out of a stone! I am going to make something up. Jakub was once a pirate who made his living as the ship’s cook before deciding to hang up his eye patch on the shores of Manchester.

JAKUB: I like that one! Ehm, just make something up, but don’t go too crazy.
